Fantastic use of wide angle lens perspective distortion when used up close to the train. Many photo pundits would say that distortion like this should be avoided. BUNK! I think it was perfect for this subject.

One of my favorite ways to spend a day on the C&TS was to arrive early and catch the locos being serviced, then chase the train up to Cumbres, then return to town and spend a delightful afternoon walking the yard and photographing, then returning to the Los Pinos area and chase the rain climbing back to Cumbres.

I am loving seeing your work - please post more.
