Of all the places I have run trains, the run from Sublette to Osier will always rank on the top. My favorite gig was to fire from Sublette to Osier in the morning. You had the engine working moderately all the way to Rock Tunnel. The injector running and trimmed just right to keep the water at a constant level. You had enough work to keep yourself entertained. If you planned things right, you fired on the right hand curves and enjoyed the view on the straights and left hand curves. The view was always spectacular with the morning sun at your back.
Doesn't get much better than that.
