With the Friday reopening of the Durango to Rockwood section in mind, this morning I walked up the track to where the washout occured. The transformation from this time last week was huge. The second of the 8 foot culverts, the deeper one and the one on the far right, was in place and covered and the talk was of being able to start relaying track tomorrow. Remember this was a 50 foot deep washout. Here's what it looked like at ten this morning. Roll on Friday!
