'The Good Guys and the Bad Guys' was in full swing -
He found the crew taking a break on a flatcar carrying an early-day firetruck, and later caught them earning their keep a couple miles north of town

Meanwhile D&RGW #473 – disguised as Union Pacific #478 for the filming of
"Butch & Sundance" – had arrived from Durango en route to Alamosa for shopping. After a shot from Terrace Avenue, Ernie walked down to the yard and apparently handed his camera to a friend before making a closer inspection
