All this stuff is covered in the video we did "Last Steam Freights 1968". Its Ernie Robart films, except my brothers stuff from June 3,4,5.
He has a cool shot of the last run of 473 eastbound(Light engine as mentioned above), crossing Cascade Creek Trestle. What an effort to get that shot. He was above track level on the NE side of the bridge. He also has a couple of shots in Chama or Lobato showing 473 and 483 during its movie work time.
What was cool about the video is that the stuff we covered June 3, 4, 5th is totally different from the other stuff he shot.
In addition we will have a new title available in November, "Rio Grande's 4th Division" which has a "Final Years" segment (1966-68). In it there is some nice 16mm scenes from Fritze Klinke, as well as some scenes shot around the Durango-Farmington area June 3-5 1968, the same time I was there.
FWIW this could be our last vintage NG show, unless we acquire something new in the future. We are finally getting out the door some material we have been accumulating for several years. Rio Grande Steam Passenger Trains, and Rio Grande's 4th Division include a lot of that accumulation.
