Spencer,
Out of curiosity I checked the lines "mileposts".
It turns out the Oberwald - Furka Tunnel section is a bit longer (2 km/1.25m) than the Realp - Furka Tunnel section.
So for the railfan this will give you a slightly longer "uphill running" time.
