So the brick structure I remembered seeing in Silverton was the Animas Light & Power Co. building, NOT the power house in the Shorpy photo.
If you scroll around to the right in the Google street view, the near side of the light-colored building farther back is where Fritz has his office; the southeast half of the building is occupied by a snowboard company.
