Autumn 2018 Sorta NG

I have noticed a very early change of colors here in Durango. Since I am helping my wife with her knee surgery (Doing great!!!) I haven't been to Silverton for several weeks so I am uncertain how the aspens are coming along. I wonder if it is due to the drought. Sometimes after a dry year the aspens are downright pathetic...change to a dry brown and then fall off at once and I wonder if this is going to be another such year. Of course an early color change doesn't mean an early winter or snowfall so I'm resigned to a lot of brown.Good thing the Rockies are doing well or I would really be depressed!
Anyway I am curious as to what other people are noticing.
