I've been retired for eleven years and I know how you feel, Grant -

Even just domestic airfare – along with the delays I experienced on Delta last week – is a real discouragement for me.  I'd really like to return to Chama during Fall Colors, but a week or ten days of boarding my dogs, plus airfare, plus car rental, plus hotel and meals at restaurants all add up to more than I can afford more often than once every two or three years.
