folks,
i am really glad to see the restored locomotive from the S.D. Warren paper mill, now opereational at Boothbay Railway Village. I believe their German industrial locomotives were the first narrow gauge locomotives I ever rode, when I was still living back East. Later I rode the trains at Edaville and liked their ride muh better. Now have added the Monson locomotives at Maine Narrow Gauge Museum and at the WW&F Railway Museum. Sadly, i missed riding the East Broadtop when it was a tourist railroad.
I have collected post cards of all the Maine Two-Footers and a shelf full of books.
Thank you Stewart for posting this series of pictures; I like them a lot!
