IMHO, like #315, she would make an excellent HELPER locomotive, as she would provide enough extra T.E. to add three or four (or maybe even five) cars to the regular train. In other words, why burn up valuable days running a K-36 at half power as a helper, when a 4-6-0 (or 2-8-0) that is very likely going to run out of years before she runs out of days, might be available
