Jerry,
I made a failed attempt to post a message yesterday conveying my deep appreciation for the excellent contribution that you make to the narrow gauge community covering the D&S and the C&TS. Your photos are nothing short of spectacular if that is the right term to use. I loved the photos you posted of the aerial fire fighting heroes also. I was in Durango during the Missionary Ridge fire and and watched those guys fly into the smoke and you just hold your breath until you see them on the other side. Your pictures brought back vivid memories of that trip. Thank you.
My failed reply somehow ended up in the bit bucket, but it was supportive of whatever path you chose. I am VERY happy to see you back and will continue to follow your adventures in narrow gauge country.
Regards, Mark Valerius (stuck in hot and humid corn patch, er Iowa)
