I managed to do a bucket list item when I rode the White Pass from Carcross down to Skagway.

This link will take you to a blog about that part of Alaska. The blogger was in search of the Canol pipeline. It was initially built and operated by the U.S. Army during WW II then the White Pass as late as 1994.
