Re: Location of old right of way near Walmart

I have walked/biked the path behind Walmart a number of times. At the start there what appears to be a grade between the path and the river. I have never scrambled down through the brush to see if there are any indications such as cinders, etc. Sometime between Walmart & Home Depot the path uses the grade but then there is a large housing development which has totally altered the landscape.and beyond is Escalante School & other landscape changes so its anybody's guess as to how the Farmington Branch gets over to the trestle. As for the Chama line the Humane Society has totally altered the landscape. I love the idea of the line going through the Mongolian Grill...I'll be watching for a K-37 the next time I'm standing in the line for the buffet. The presence of the K-37s would explain the potholes in the parking lot.
