Actually the previous operator was going to put a balloon loop in the west end of the Chama yard! That would have ripped the yard apart. As well, install a perimeter fence. Luckily the Commission and our current GM took over! Today is the 1st day in appx 50 years that a historic passenger coach rode over Cumbres pass behind a steam locomotive. I'd never thought this would happen while similar isn't in Durango. Kudos to all involved making this happen today!
