I certainly haven't seen that particular view nor one with writing on it for a PC.
Mac Poor and Jackson Thode were up there in August '39, the Telegraph Office at that time had the ALPINE TUNNEL sign in place. I have seen somewhere photos of liberating the sign (Thode or Poor) but can't remember where/what date at this moment.
There was several views done by a June 1940 visit by R.H.Kindig that match the scene, those views still had the rails in place like the Thread Postcard but have snow present between the buildings and the hillside. Soon after most rails had been taken up and the Boardinghouse had a severe lean.
