Here in Virginia, I also use the beloved Kroger points. I can get by with Dad's half tank rule because my personal vehicle is a GMC Sierra Denali with a LARGE fuel tank. I also have a company provided fleet vehicle that most of my miles driven go on, so typically I only fill up the Denali once a month. When I do, I am able to use up all my points, at about half a tank and before they expire, and take full advantage of the savings. I just wish there was a way I could have all my points saved up to use at all of the fill-ups next week when we start our cross country drive to NG Country!!
