Okay, so 491 got 499's tender when it was sent to CRRM. So I assume this was about the same time the other engines in Alamosa went to the D&S, or was 491 sent to CRRM before that. Not that it matters, cause 499 is the engine I have in the Durango Roundhouse. But this does explain why 499 has no tender in my scenes.
Also the tender from 498 went to Canon City with the swap for 486, which explains why it is sitting outside in Durango with no tender. 498 had its tender in 1994, and was sitting there between 499 and 493. 493 was set-up with steps so visitors could get inside the cab. I did so and shot some backhead scenes. Nice to know of the three K-37's in my video that the 493 is getting some attention with the rebuild.
Thanks guys.
