He's saying that the 491 has been in Golden since 1985 and when it went to Golden it was shipped with the tender from 499. I know that History Colorado gained possession of 491 in 1970 but I am not sure where it was during the 15 years before it arrived in Golden. Guessing Alamosa? Somewhere there is a post that illustrates the tender swapping that occurred between the K37s. As it stands, there are 8 surviving K37s and 7 surviving tenders.
