This I have posted before but was blocked by music copyright infringement in the USA. The first 4 minutes are nostalgic views of the town of Taihape.

The last use of Mainline Steam locos on the North Island Main Trunk between Taihape and Taumarunui over the Raurimu spiral. This was filmed by an Enginedriver based in Taihape then and shows the shunting of the yard, turning and oiling up of the big K^A's, cab shots etc. Rounding the Turangarere horseshoe curve and running across some of the large Viaducts are also shown. New Diesels are show up but mostly steam.
