Russ, Yes Ernie got the 483 working the movie near Lobato, and the 473 together at one point-perhaps in Chama, or passing in Lobato. I have a scene or still in the video we did. What was really cool was Ernie hiked into Cascade Creek Trestle and got it running light to Alamosa from above the bridge. I am not sure how he hiked in there, but I suspect from Osier. It was the last run of a K-28 eastbound between Chama and Alamosa. After that it got some work in the shop, and ran the last train west with 483 as we all know. I know we have the movie clip at Cascade Creek trestle in the video. He did not get anything after that. But man what an effort to get in there, and for a lonely light engine, too!!!
