Denver Union Station had arc lamps mounted on their tower in the early 1880s.There was a network of Arc lamp towers at various places in downtown Denver including one near the DSP&P roundhouse.It was a flawed system that didn't last long.The arc light fixtures show up in most early photos of the original station tower.
