Seeing your second shot I am wondering if around 1960 when my dad and I were there we in fact did not cross the river? Your first shot doesn't show the foreground that the second one shows. I had always thought we went to the other side of the Los Pinos river via a logging bridge or some such. I even seem to remember a truck of logs coming up to the railroad. Anyone else know of a bridge or logging back there in those days??
