I'd echo Jerry's warning and add that there are mountain lions along the D&S as well although I've not seen one, only their paw prints in the snow. Here's a fellow at the end of our yard, the D&S is about 12 feet behind him up the slope. Generally you won't see them from the train, the noise scares them away.
