No, this was July 15-16th I believe. I have all the dates, but off the top of my head am not sure. There was a little shot on one day, and then nothing for several days, then Chama yard one day, and nothing more, then lastly the 493/497 run.
In one of the scenes the day before 497 is moving around in the yard with two cabooses. However, I do not believe in the train we see going up the hill the next day only had one, but not 100% sure, without opening up the editing computer (which is a real time eater with that old one for vintage material----not HD you know).
Fritz's stuff from Alamosa is interesting with 497 running light, the first day it ran in 1967 after shopping. We see it to La Jara and taking water, then 498 rolls through with the freight. They chased it all the way to Cumbres and took stills but no movies past those scenes at La Jara. Its excellent quality I might ad. Fritz did a great job with the small amount of 16mm that he ever shot. Wish there was more, but of course who is ever satisfied when it comes to vintage stuff, right?Greg
