Applicants don't necessarily need to be non-profits. We've had applicants in the past who are either very small groups or individuals who need supplies for some project that are not either a non-profit or a 501c3 charity. As long as whatever they're doing is related to rail history preservation or education and we think they're being honest with us, we'll consider the application.
