Quote from D&RGW Magazine, September 1926.
"The cylinders being provided with a 2-foot track, and railroad having to maintain a 3-foot gauge, and a 4 foot 8-1/2 inch gauge track for the bringing in of material, made it unusually difficult problem to solve satisfactorily as it would occur at once as being an almost impossible yard condition to maintain three gauges.....This yard has been laid out so that it can be reached at every point with all three gauges of track without having one single frog connection or crossing between the 2-foot gauge track and the broader gauges."
