The tender that was behind 476 in the roundhouse for the last few years is back behind 473. It was the one that was painted yellow, and is also the tender (frame only-they all have new tanks) that was behind 473 until sometime in the 70's.
The tender 473 was carrying until last week is the 476's real tender from the 50's and 60's, as it has all four original cast steps. 473 and 478 lost their rear steps when they were designated as switch engines in the 50's.
