If they can detour through the northern Atlanta area, the Civil War Museum at Kenesaw, GA is where the "General" is, and there is also supposed to be a great new display of locomotive manufacturing I have not yet seen. If you are a railfan in this part of the world, you have to se The "General". From there, it's a hop, skip and jump up to Chattanooga right up I-75.
