Wye at Cumbres, Interesting Info

August 23, 2003 08:28AM
After receiving my copy of the 1919 ICC map that covers the C&T, it has a notation that the tail end of the wye at Cumbres was added on to, by 275', here's whats on the map," U.S.Forest Service Deed #4187,16.5' x16.5', special use permit, and there was an agrement # 4357 dated 1926 with National Lumber Co. to track # 7, which is attached to the wye at Cumbres, which inturn is numbered #6,I'm assuming that the existing track that is beyond the existing covered section at the end of the wye is that track, and was never taken up when the lumber company moved on to other locations.
