Re: Saline Valley Aerial Tram near Keeler

There have been several works that cover the story of the Saline Valley tramway. Some of these have been available at the Eastern California Museum in Independence. And maybe other sources in the Valley and elsewhere. One little booklet by the late Mary DeDecker has been out of print for sometime.

One covering this aerial tramway and others is the book entitled Riding the High Wire : Aerial Mine Tramways in the West by Robert A. Trennert and published by University Press of Colorado. I also see copies of it listed on abebooks.com.

Also check out this website Saline Valley Salt Tram it has information about another book that is based on the diary of the man who built the tram.
