While sorting through contact prints I was given by Preston Johnson, I came up with this image;
This was the group that chartered RGS 4 on May 23, 1950 and were the first ones to charter a Goose in the "tourist version". The trip ran from Ridgway to Telluride (actually all the way to Pandora to turn the Goose on the wye there) and return. This photo was taken on the return trip at Placerville. Can anyone identify the gentleman standing in the back row on the very left? I believe it is the Motorman, a Mr. Cooper according to Preston's notes on the trip. Don Hills, sitting in front on the left, was my father.
