OK, I am trying to figure out the lay-out and history of the two spurs, located on the west side of the Crested Butte Branch, near Mile Posts 314 & 315.
I have a plat map from the Colorado Railroad Museum that shows where two spurs were located (looks right), with Track #25 starting near Mile Post 314, The platt with just one spur located at Mile Post 315 is from the Gunnison County Assayer Office, and it shows this spur as Track #25. Is this correct?
The northern spur at Mile Post 315 was the spur that serviced the 1st Bulkley Mine, but then a 2nd spur was built at Mile Post 314, to service the 2nd location of the Bulkley Mine, when it was moved south 1/2 mile.
Dose anyone have more information on this, also any information on length and additional sidings.
Thanks!
Russ
