Just short of $46,000 as of 3:25 PM EST on Tuesday. Basically, its raised $6,000, just since lunch. Glad to see folks coming together to save a piece of history. For whatever reason, our "cell phone zombie" society just doesn't seem interested in history. If they could only understand the scope of how this one human invention.....the steam locomotive....literally facilitated the transformation of our society from the stone age to the space age in the space of less than a hundred years. Were it not for steam locomotives, today's "cell phone zombies" would still be hearing "You've got mail" from the Pony Express.
