I rode behind 476 on the Rio Grande in August 10,1964 on the trip to Silverton. Conductor A.F Lyons was on the train for that trip. Still have the tickets and the stub Mr. Lyons gave to us from the trip.

Night Passage was the movie that inspired me and my family to take the trip on the train in the first place. It is one of my favorite movies , with 2 of my favorite actors " Jimmy Stewart " and " Audie Murphy" . May have to dig out my copy and watch it again.
