I'm a bit late to the party, but here's a video from the Lerro charter in 2011.

The way I remember it, the track was too far from the chute. Some time in the intervening decades since this was last done "for real" the track had been shifted or the chute rebuilt further back. Either way, without an extension for the ramp, there was no way to get the critters aboard the cars.
