Cooking with a steam engine *LINK* *PIC*

Yesterday when doing my job as a conductor I had my camera with me and managed to take a photo of the steam engine cab where the fireman was preparing his lunch (see the attached picture). He was calling it the "crown sausage" because of the valves he was using in cooking.
He has also been preparing smoked fish in the smoke stack (the locomotive is wood fired). He told you just put the fish (spiced with salt & pepper) on top of the spark arrester in the stack, and after an hour or so it is coocked. You just have to remember the fish is in the smoke stack! Otherwise it might turn to be a flying fish!
With the coal fired lovomotive #4 he has been preparing his lunch in a oven like box on top of the cylinder (in the front of the engine). He said it works like an oven, but is almost as fast as a microwave oven!
I wonder if anybody knows any other "steam engine receipes"?
