Kevin, we pretty much said the same thing in different ways. When I started shooting digital seriously in 2004, I shot both JPEG and RAW. I had been using Photoshop since 1994 and quickly learned how to process RAW files, Now I only shoot RAW as I was seldom using the JPEGs that the camera made. Now I make JPEGs in Photoshop of the files that I want to post or email. I hear from a number of my friends that they don't have the time for post processing. I have to assume that before digital they had a custom lab or drug store make their prints. I for one, do not miss the darkroom, after having to smell the chemicals for 8 hours a day, 5 to 7 days a week. Photoshop may be hard on my eyes but don't think it will destroy my lungs.
