This was a real quiet time on the NG. I looked up Eldon Morgan's time books for May, 1949. He had been cut off since the end of March. He finally went back to work in June as the Hostler Helper (as in assistant to the Hostler) in Chama. He deadheaded to Chama on 216 and worked for the next two months in Chama - nearly every day - and was glad to have any kind of job!
