It is interesting to note than in my DRGW Employee TT No. 119 dated 11/6/32, the adjusted tonnage rating chart does not list the T-12's, even though we know that there were a couple still out there running around. I pulled the same chart from an on-line source of DRGW Employee TT No. 114 (1928) that lists them all. The T-12's are listed for only the RGS portion of the timetable, but rates it at 100 tons up the steep side of Lizard Head.
This is a good exercise for you "fantasy" narrow gauge railroaders out there that are trying to figure out how many cars your train can pull up the big hill. Look at the chart below, figure out the weight of the cars based on other sources, convert to tons, calculate the adjustment factor and you have the answer.
