Only a small but vocal minority of relatively recent immigrants who are ignorant of and/or indifferent to the role of the D&RGW in the history of Durango and its environs. Per our late benefactor Don Richter, use of the common pejorative used to describe such persons, "@#$%&", is 'verboten' here on the NGDF.* I presume the majority of the folks in Durango could care less one way or the other about #315, and for those who do have warm feelings it's only a 2 or 2½ hour drive to Chama.

* As you can see, Don installed a software filter several years ago so that any attempt to enter the word "N-I-M-B-Y", in upper or lower case and without spaces or dashes, etc., is replaced by "@#$%&".
