And I'm more convinced than ever that the second caboose on the
TRAINS trains of August 28 & 29, 1967, was #04343. Here's a close-up of it on the very last D&RGW revenue freight over Cumbres Pass, eastbound exactly a year later on 08/29/68

Note the boards (headrests?) in the cupola of #04343 – clearly visible in this photo from 08/28/67 as well, in addition to the fascia lettering
