Locomotive construction time/overhaul time

Today, with the lack of huge shop crews and the supporting infrastructure, a major rebuild takes months if not years to complete on a steam locomotive.

I've seen a video of an English railroad shopping a locomotive in five days - total rebuild.

At it's peek, how quick could the Grande turn around a locomotive for a complete rebuild?

When Baldwin, Alco, etc, were at their peek, how quickly could they from start to scratch, less design time, build a locomotive once the order was placed?
