Drawings of Howe or Pony Truss wooden bridges as used on the Silverton Branch?

December 18, 2017 07:45PM
Looking to see if any of you know where I can find copies of original drawings of the wooden Pony or Howe truss bridge drawings as used on the Silverton Branch.

I have a 'new' set of published drawings from the D&RGW Showbook DVD and a set of drawings from a wood model kit. There are some inconsistencies. There are bridges like this at North Durango, Hermosa, and somewhere in the vicinity of Elk Park are three in a row - although they are no longer in use. At first glance, they all appear alike. But you know what happens when you assume! Thanks in advance for your insight and knowledge.

Regards,
