With the refurbishing of Needleton Tank going on, what is the statis of Hermosa Tank. If it has not been rebuilt, then that makes it the last of the tanks from the D&RGW era that has not been refurbished, or has it!
Also, which of the C&TS tanks is the most authentic, since 4 have now been rebuilt(Los Pinos, Cresco, Chama, and Osier), and the Antonito one is a replica. As I think about it, the one at Lava is perhaps the last authentic, unrebuilt tank left along the ex-D&RGW that is still running trains on it, even though the tank is not functional.
Someday it would be nice to see the old Heralds anr flying Rio Grande on these symbols of narrow gauge railroading in the region.
