Thanks for responding. Yeah, I know that a little bit of track, and the "roundhouse" (not really a round house) survive at Patuxent River NAS, Some of the rail at Indian Head, including the older stuff with electrical wiring to maintain continuity survives at Indian Head along with some railroad cars of various ages stashed in the woods. The last time I was at Dahlgren all the rail had been pulled up including about half of the connecting railroad. One has to keep in mind that the security folks get a little stuffy when cameras are whipped out.

All of that said, I have good information on the rail layouts at the three bases and fair information on the specifics of the locomotives and rolling stock. I am still in the process of collecting what I can find. Any ideas you may have are welcome.
