The Tuscarora Valley was a colorful little railroad that deserves to be better known among narrow gauge fans. It was right next door to the EBT, literally just the next valley over, and came very close to connecting with its famous neighbor, though this projected extension was never completed. The TVRR even acquired a number of second-hand locomotives and cars from the EBT as it modernized in the early part of the 20th century (most notably EBT 2-6-0 No. 1 'Edward Roberts' and 2-8-0 1st No. 3 'Rockhill', the latter famously built as D&RG No. 13 'Mosca'), so the two railroads appear to have had a friendly relationship with each other. It seems appropriate that this TVRR combine should find a temporary home at the EBT.
I also think it's great that the combine's new owner is a 21 year old student. I wish him well!
