The Ford pickup in the film would have to have been a 1949 or 1950 model, as the fall of 1949 was when the train scenes were shot. Maybe a truck expert can tell us which model it was. The filmmakers were back during the winter of 1949/1950 and again in the spring of 1950 to get shots of the cattle being driven to the high country, then finally for the annual Cattlemen's Days celebration in July 1950. So like most films, it was shot out of sequence compared to the winter, spring, summer, fall narrative. The film was finished later in 1950 and Gus Roberson received his truck. His daughter, Sandra, is the little girl in the food line shortly after the 9 minute mark.
