What is the date of this pic? The diamond stack would indicate it was pretty early in the life of the K-27 (Class 125?) locomotives. Were any of the Mudhens simpled while diamond stack Class 60 locomotives were still in service? I don't know when the D&RG got rid of its last diamond stack, but I recall Silverton Northern #100 never lost hers. The last I can recall SN #100 being in service was about 1910, but I may be mistaken.
Now if only a Class 60 with a short smokebox & diamond stack could magically appear in service in 2018 with a T-12... (I doubt it would be historically accurate for 1916, but it would be fun)
