Not sure about Marshall Pass but it sure looks like a 2-8-2 with slide valves and a slope-back tender to me, Dave -

BTW, one thing I've never seen are any photos of #454, #456, #458 and/or #461 after the cylinders with slide ('D' or 'hat') valves were replaced by cylinders with inboard piston valves and still using the inside-the-frame Stephenson valve gear. IIRC, John Bush posted a while back that he had looked for photos of these four engines after they got piston valves but before they were converted to Walshearts valve gear and he hadn't had any luck.
